Mrs. M's Reading Camps & Private Tutoring

Summer Reading Programs
Bringing Books to Life for Reluctant Readers
Mrs. M offers reading tutoring and summer camps for students entering 3rd-12th grades. Together we read, discuss, and write in a private, semi-private or small group setting.
Mrs. M works primarily with reluctant, struggling, or emerging readers - the kids who resist their summer reading. She turns a dreaded summer assignment into an exciting journey that engages students in lively discussion
and ignites their interest in reading more.
As students discuss themes, style, plot, and characters, they find their own voices to write articulately and thoughtfully about each novel. They also improve their fluency, vocabulary, comprehension, and
critical thinking skills.
